I was recently reminded of art collector and patron Peggy Guggenheim. She had a great love for the avant-garde and supported the careers of many young artists. I love this wonderful photo of Peggy in her signature glasses.

Diana Vreeland was a style icon and influencer for most of the twentieth century. Known for her impeccable taste and appreciation of the Avant Garde, she quickly went from being a columnist at the New York Times to Fashion Editor for Harper’s Bazaar and later Editor in Chief of Vogue.
