A Colorful Life

Last night was a truly magical experience at the European premiere of Advanced Style. I’ll post some thoughts and photos from the evening soon.

I’m excited to share the final images from my shoot with the vibrant and wonderful Magda. Here are some inspired words by her dear friend Daniela:

Magda lives in a world of creativity; and art is always in her life, through her flowers, braids, and her own one-of-a-kind necklaces. Her necklaces are wearable art. With her unique sense of style, Magda blends colors, textures, and vintage pieces, creating unique jewelry of sophisticated elegance.

Her stories are truly special, and her wisdom is a treasure I hold close to my heart. Every time I see Magda I listen closely, as I know there is so much I can learn. She is never unnoticed! And her laughter is unique and immediately contagious.

I am lucky to be a friend of an authentic icon of beauty, who lives her life full of color, imagination, and hope. – Daniela Arredondo

The Ladies arrive in London

It’s been a very exciting few days. Lina and I have been traveling with the stars of The Advanced Style Documentary for our world premiere in Toronto. We couldn’t of hoped for a better response with four sold out screenings and wonderful feedback from the audiences. After Toronto, I made my way to London with some of the ladies, while Lina attended the New Jersey Premiere of Advanced Style with Ilona Royce Smithkin and Jacquie Tajah Murdock. Thanks so much for cheering us on! We hope to bring Advanced Style to a Theater near you.

London Street Style

I ran into Carole Lee on my way to a panel discussion about aging at Selfridges. When I stopped to ask her for her photograph, she said, ” You are like that Seth with the book.” It turns out that she had just seen my book at a department store. I can’t wait to hit the streets and photograph some more wonderful ladies in London before the premiere of our documentary. Click HERE for  information on all UK screenings and Q&A’s.
