Autumn is always one of my favorite times to photo hunt in New York City There are so many great coats, colors, layers and textures to spot on the street. I always have a hard time transitioning into cooler weather and sometimes find it hard to find a fashionable alternative to a bulky puffy coat, but the woman I photograph consistently prove that a great Fall/Winter can definitely make a stylish statement.

I met this stunning woman on a very windy day near Madison Avenue. I offered to help her across the street and asked if I could take her photograph. When I asked what inspired her style she replied, ” Me, I dress up for me. That part of the day is about me and the rest is about other people. I get dressed up everyday as if I am going to New York City, even though I live here. I know I’m one of the only people in New York who dresses anymore.”

Jacquie was one of the gorgeous ladies who took part in The Advanced Style Fashion at Lincoln Center this  past weekend. Here she is modelling an amazing pair of a-morir shades designed by my good friend and future Advanced Style lady Kerin Rose. Jacquie was one of ten stunning ladies who turned out to strut their stuff on an imaginary catwalk for New York Fashion Week. Check out some  of the great press we got in the links below:
