Advanced Style in Palm Springs

I’m in the desert for the Palm Springs premiere of Advanced Style screening this Friday. Yesterday, I caught up with my dear friend Colleen outside her wonderful consignment shop, Re-Deux in Rancho Mirage. Colleen is bringing a bunch of people to the premiere, including a very special guest, her dear friend, Carol Channing!!! I have been shooting in California and decided that I should make my way to Palm Springs to visit one of my favorite ladies, Colleen. My mom and I met Colleen  at her shop in Rancho Mirage a few years ago and she has since become one of our best friends. Re-Deux, Revisit

I first photographed Colleen outside her consignment boutique, Re-Deux, in Rancho Mirage, California two years ago. She was totally unaware of how striking she is and it took a bit of convincing from my mom before she would let me take her photograph. I was thrilled with the results and included her portrait in my book. I popped into the store again last weekend to catch up. It was great fun to surprise Colleen and I was delighted to get some great new photos to share with everyone!
